My husband and I built an Ashwood I in Stonebridge Pointe with Chris George. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and the process of building a home with Chris and his team.

I think the first thing you should know is that you will have direct access to Chris and your project manager through text. They are extremely responsive and I don't think we ever had to wait longer than 24 hours for a response to a comment or a question.

Every new home build is going to have some bumps in the road but on the whole, Richard (our project manager who was WONDERFUL) and Chris were fair and accommodating and never made us feel like our questions or concerns were an imposition on their time.

A few words about Richard, who we had the most experience with: He was upfront, honest, easy to work with and extremely fair. We really enjoyed all of our experiences with him.

This was our first time purchasing a new build, and our experience with Chris George Homes could not have been smoother. We had heard mixed reviews about purchasing spec homes in general, and we were a bit apprehensive going into the process, but the attentiveness and professionalism with which these guys operated quickly put our minds at ease. We were in direct contact with both Chris and his project manager, Luke, via text and email throughout the entire process. They were both extremely responsive and Luke's attention to detail throughout the entire process (walkthroughs, punchlists, etc...) was much appreciated. Most of the house was finished when we made an offer, however, we were able to request a few last minute changes and Luke worked with us to get everything taken care of. He was extremely accommodating and flexible around our busy schedules, and really just an all-around standout guy. If you are considering purchasing a spec home or building a custom home, I would definitely recommend speaking to these guys!

You’ll be assigned a project manager who’ll be your single point of contact throughout the entire process. I’ve worked with both Caleb and now Richard – and they’re both great guys.

For our basement project, we shopped a few general contractors and we were thrilled when Chris George Homes beat the others on cost, because we wanted to work with them over others. The basement was delivered on time, on cost and is absolutely beautiful. My wife is incredibly happy. Highly recommend Chris George and team.

We bought a spec house from Chris George Homes as our very first home and couldn’t be happier with the process! I was amazed at how easy it was to stay in touch with Chris (being the name/face of the company I’m sure he’s very busy). As a Realtor we strive to find the best for our clients. The home that they purchased from Chris George Homes was not only beautiful but met their needs. The Main floor had two bedrooms and the buyers are using one as a music room, they got everything they wanted. Richard, our site manager was very responsive and easy to work with. Chris George and his team helped me find and renovate an amazing Prairie Village home. The interior was fairly dated and they helped bring all my design dreams to life! They handled everything from flooring and tile work to electric and plumbing needs. Going through a renovation seems like a super daunting task when you've never been there, but they made the entire experience a breeze for me. I have nothing but the highest praises for everyone at Chris George Custom Homes!

We bought our home before it was a completed build and promptly were introduced to all suppliers that Chris George Homes works with to keep the project moving along and on-time. All of which were amazing to work with and KC's best. We were able to add our customizations to the home with no push back. They allowed us to pick flooring, tile, appliances, fixtures, lighting, add and change many things about the already beautiful home that fit our needs. When in doubt on choices, they were also great at giving their professional opinion on what they would have done/what would look best. They were extremely responsive and very well organized when it came to change orders and pricing. The project management was elite and everything was completed on-time for closing. We are now living in our home and absolutely love it. It is beautiful and a work of art, at that. I will also say that when it comes to the warranty and any issues that might arise after moving in, they are on top of and there to help at a moment's notice. Would absolutely recommend and if ever to build another home, would use again.

The is my second Chris George home purchased over a span of 30 years. First home purchase was in 1990 and my second purchase recently in 2020. With both purchases, my experience was fantastic.
